This is a picture of the brand-new Hudson’s site being built in Downtown Detroit, right before it’s completion.
The building’s name derives from Joseph Lowthian (J.L) Hudson. I did some reading on the guy and my favorite excerpt was, “According to biographer Edward L. Lack Jr., Hudson left no personal papers, and the details outside of his public life are few and mostly unknown.”
Meanwhile, I’m getting an alerts that Tyler, who failed Life Skills in 10th grade, just posted “5 Things the Office Ping Pong Table Taught Me About Building a Great Workplace Culture,” on his LinkedIn, followed up with, “5 Ways My Divorce Taught Me How To Be a Better Mortgage Broker.” I think we should all aspire to be a little more like Mr. Hudson.
